JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: 655 15th Street NW, Washington DC (Metropolitan Square)

Description: As a core part of the practice leadership team, and one of the more senior members of the D.C. office, this individual will play a critical role in driving and leading search execution for our client partners. The selected individual will have a track record of leading sophisticated and senior-level recruiting efforts, with a proven ability to cultivate and strengthen stakeholder relationships. This candidate will also possess leadership skills that will allow them to manage a diverse set of high-performing search teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Search Strategy: The Practice Leader will work closely with client partners and Charles Aris researchers/associates to build and refine search strategy and research efforts.
  • Search Team Management: While this role will require a true “Player-Coach”, this individual will be charged with leading internal Charles Aris search teams including researchers and Associates.
  • Client Management: This Practice Leader acts as the “face” of Charles Aris to our client partners, and will lead search intake calls, candidate introductions weekly updates and offer negotiations. This individual will also be where the final editor on client deliverables.
  • Qualifying Candidates: The Practice Leader will conduct interviews with all finalists candidates and be the ultimate decision maker of who is introduced to client partners.
  • Business Development: While not a central focus of this role, the Practice Leader will also play an effort in driving business development and winning search work for the firm.

Other Required Experience

  • College degree (B.A. / B.S. preferred)
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in an executive recruiting or talent acquisition capacity
  • Excellent computer skills (excel, PowerPoint)

Work Environment

The ideal individual will be comfortable with, and available to, go into our office in downtown D.C. at least 1-2 days a week.
